Biography
Rachel operates a broad practice in family law matters, particularly those involving divorce and high-net worth financial settlements, and complex disputes regarding children such as applications for child arrangements orders, prohibited steps orders and specific issue orders.
Rachel is also experienced in drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
Having trained in corporate law and contentious trusts as well as family law, Rachel has particular experience assisting in financial settlements involving complex business assets, or with elements of non-disclosure.
Rachel has experience in wide ranging private children applications including those with complex safeguarding issues, relocation disputes, and cases involving vulnerable parties.
Rachel recognises that going through family proceedings is a challenging experience, and is praised by her clients for being reassuring, articulate, and supportive.
Rachel graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class (Hons) Degree in Law with Dean’s award, before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course with a combined Masters degree at the University of Law, finishing with Distinction.
Rachel is a member of Resolution and is committed to resolving matters outside of court where possible. Rachel is also an active member of Manchester’s Young Resolution Committee, and volunteers as a Mentor for law students at the University of Law who are aspiring to become solicitors.
