Biography
David Jones is a Senior Associate in Myerson’s Dispute Resolution department and a recognised specialist in professional negligence. A member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association, David is known for his confident handling of complex, high‑value disputes and his strong procedural expertise developed through extensive litigation experience.
David joined Myerson in September 2023 from Stephensons and progressed rapidly to Senior Associate within 12 months, reflecting both his technical ability and the impact he has made since joining the firm. He regularly has conduct of multi‑million‑pound claims, often involving multiple parties, leading law firms, and intricate issues of liability and quantum. His strategic oversight and management skills ensure effective coordination across teams, including matters involving several fee earners and external Leading and Junior Counsel.
David’s practice spans a broad range of commercial disputes, with particular focus on professional negligence, partnership and shareholder disputes, and contractual claims. He has significant experience in insurance‑funded litigation and originally trained at a Warrington firm under the supervision of a Deputy District Judge, giving him a strong grounding in litigation strategy and court procedure.
