Since their introduction in 2014 through the Finance Act 2014, Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs) have seen remarkable growth in the UK. Created to encourage more companies to transition to employee ownership, EOTs provide a tax-efficient way for business owners to transfer ownership to their employees.
