Biography
Jonathan is an Associate in the Corporate team and has built an extensive background in corporate law, advising on a wide spectrum of transactions including sales, acquisitions, management buy-outs, investments, private equity transactions, reorganisations, and general corporate governance matters. His experience spans both domestic and cross-border work, giving him a broad understanding of the commercial, strategic and operational considerations that shape complex deals.
Prior to joining Myerson in 2025, Jonathan has previously worked at regional and national firms. Jonathan has developed significant experience working with SMEs, family-owned and owner-managed businesses, as well as large corporates. He regularly guides clients through high-value and time-sensitive transactions across a diverse range of sectors. His structured approach and ability to simplify complex issues enable clients to make informed decisions with confidence, even in challenging or fast-moving circumstances.
Jonathan has also built a strong specialism in the technology sector. He frequently advises fast-growth tech businesses, early-stage and institutional investors, and established digital and software companies on strategic investments, corporate structuring and a variety of commercial deals. His understanding of sector-specific issues allows him to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice tailored to the unique demands of technology-driven organisations.

Recent Experience
Advising Shareholders on the Sale of UAP Group Limited to Allegion plc
Myerson advised David Jennings and Adam Lumley in relation to the sale of their respective shareholdings in Bury-based UAP Group Limited, a company that specialises in manufacturing and distributing advanced door and window hardware, to Allegion plc (through one of its subsidiaries).
Complex Intra-Group Reorganisation and Strike-Off of UK Companies
Advised a multinational group on a complex UK corporate reorganisation, including intra-group loans and distributions, share capital reductions, group simplification and the strike-off of multiple UK entities, working closely with tax advisers, in-house counsel and finance teams to deliver a tax-efficient outcome.
Advising Improven Group on Full Ownership of Its Value Limited
Myerson advised Netherlands-based Its Value Consultancy B.V., part of Improven Group, on its acquisition of the remaining one-third shareholding in UK-based Its Value Limited, completing the buyer’s transition to full ownership of the business.
The shares were acquired from the outgoing minority shareholder, who remains involved with the business in a consultancy capacity. The transaction enables Improven to streamline governance and support the next phase of growth for the group’s UK operations. Myerson provided comprehensive cross-border advice throughout the transaction, including structuring the acquisition, negotiating the share purchase arrangements and managing the matter through to successful completion.
