Biography
Having obtained a Durham University Law Degree in 2008, Carly qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and has specialised in residential property ever since. Carly has built a strong reputation in this field over the 13 years since qualification and has acted for residential property clients in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and beyond.
Covering the wide range of residential property matters, Carly’s caseload has particular emphasis on assisting high-net-worth individual and investor clients to refinance, restructure and add to their existing property portfolios, whether that be for tax or other commercial reasons. Carly works closely with Myerson’s Corporate Team, particularly in relation to private loans and legal charge arrangements and property incorporations.
Carly has established herself as a trusted and pragmatic advisor with considerable experience in complex transactions and title issues which can often cause a chain of transactions to collapse without a representative in that chain to unravel and solve the problem. The team has strong links with local estate agents, and Carly has a reputation for getting the job done and supporting her clients through their property journey, with many clients returning to instruct her again and again.
Carly supports the Head of Department in managing and training the team and is a member of the firm’s Banking Sector and the firm Employee Engagement Committee, being a voice for colleagues in sharing feedback and thoughts on the future of the firm.
