Jack joined Myerson as a Solicitor in February 2023 and has been a core member of the Insolvency & Restructuring Team since then. Prior to joining Myerson, Jack worked at the Manchester office of a national law firm, joining upon qualification as a Solicitor in September 2021. Before qualifying as a Solicitor, Jack graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First-Class Honours Degree in Law and was the top-performing law student in the university. Jack then undertook the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester, achieving a Distinction.

Jack has developed considerable experience in dealing with both corporate and personal insolvency, acting in respect of a range of contentious, non-contentious and advisory matters for insolvency practitioners, directors and individuals.

Jack advises on a wide range of insolvency matters, including a range of claims brought by insolvency officeholders (to include liquidators, administrators and trustees in bankruptcy), distressed business and/or asset sales out of formal insolvency processes, matters relating to the appointment of insolvency officeholders (including technical advice regarding secured creditor interests), retention of title claims and winding-up and bankruptcy petitions.

Jack is highly regarded by clients and known for his attention to detail, technical ability and commercial awareness.

Alongside his legal practice, Jack is also a member of Myerson’s Employee Engagement Committee, which was established upon Myerson becoming 100% employee-owned.
