Amy studied her LLB (Hons) in Law at the University of Manchester, achieving a 2:1 degree. She completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP University (Manchester) in October 2021 with a Distinction.
She completed her Training Contract in November 2021 and was admitted as a Solicitor in December 2021.
Amy joined Myerson’s employment team in December 2022.
Amy has advised employees on a range of employment law issues. She also has experience in Employment Tribunal matters, including commencing claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination, unlawful deduction from wages and employment status. She also has experience in large group Claimant claims in respect of a protective award.
She has experience in advising on settlement agreements and negotiating the terms and value of settlement agreements.
Amy has advised and assisted employers on a range of employment law and HR issues. This includes assisting in disciplinary, grievance and appeal procedures, sickness absence procedures and preparing employment contracts and policies.
