Biography

Charlotte is a senior associate in the Real Estate team at Myerson. She trained at Myerson and qualified in September 2017. Charlotte has been recognised in the Legal 500 several times as a “Rising Star” and a “Leading Associate”.

Charlotte specialises in sales and purchases, landlord and tenant work and secured lending matters. She has acted for both sellers and purchasers on various types of properties including offices, retail units, industrial units and land for development. Charlotte has expertise in negotiating conditional contracts, option agreements and overage provisions.

Charlotte acts for portfolio landlords on all aspects on their lease management, including new leases, lease renewals, licences to alter and licences to assign. She also regularly acts for tenants on lease matters, whether they are tenants of multiple sites or a tenant who is entering into a commercial lease for the first time.

Charlotte is the deputy head of the banking sector at Myerson and has particular expertise acting on secured finance matters, including purchases with funding and refinancing matters.

Charlotte is actively involved in the apprenticeship scheme at Myerson, being part of the team that conducts the interviews on the apprenticeship assessment days and supervising the apprentice in the Real Estate team.

The Legal 500 directory notes that Charlotte is “a key practitioner who handles acquisition, disposal and portfolio management cases for investor clients, as well as landlord and tenant matters”.
