Specialisms & Areas of Work
Biography
Lauren joined Myerson in 2023, initially working in the Business Services team, where she gained experience across administrative, marketing and business support functions before becoming a cross-departmental PA. Supporting fee earners across a range of practice areas gave Lauren valuable insight into the legal profession and confirmed her ambition to pursue a career as a solicitor.
Lauren first discovered Myerson when members of the firm visited her college to deliver mock interviews. Following the event, she arranged to visit the office to learn more about the firm and was particularly drawn to its welcoming culture, collaborative environment and investment in its people. Although Lauren received three solicitor apprenticeship offers, Myerson remained her first choice.
Lauren is currently undertaking the six-year Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship, combining study for her law degree with practical experience across different practice areas. The apprenticeship enables her to develop her legal knowledge and practical skills while gaining hands-on experience and applying her studies to real client work.
Since beginning her apprenticeship, Lauren has completed seats in Corporate and Commercial Property and joined the Commercial Litigation team in September. She particularly enjoys the variety of her role, working closely with colleagues across the firm and continually developing her knowledge and skills through practical experience and academic study.
