Biography
Sarah is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate team at Myerson and has been with the firm since beginning her training contract in 2016, subsequently qualifying into the Real Estate team in 2018 and achieving promotions to Associate in 2021 and Senior Associate in 2024.
Sarah has over 8 years of experience providing legal advice on all aspects of non-contentious real estate matters, including:
- Landlord and tenant matters, including new leases, licences to alter, licences to assign, licences to underlet, renewal leases, lease assignments, deeds of variation and deeds of surrender
- Commercial sales and purchases of vacant and multi-let properties
- Property financing and secured lending
- Auction sales and purchases
- Corporate support on complex share and asset sales and purchases
- Development matters, including option agreements, conditional contracts, overage agreements and section 106 agreements
- Land law matters, including deeds of easement and deeds of covenant
Sarah acts for a broad range of clients including landlords, tenants, investors, pension funds, lenders and developers across a wide range of sectors such as retail, office, industrial, hospitality and leisure and agriculture.
Internally at Myerson, Sarah delivers training sessions to colleagues on various real estate related topics and supervises junior members of the team. Outside of the department, Sarah delivers advanced training to new starters on using the firm’s case management system. Sarah is also involved in all aspects of business development for the department and the firm.

- Acting for the AkzoNobel Group of companies in connection with the management of its multi-million pound rental portfolio of Dulux Decorator Centres and paint manufacturing centres across the UK, including leases (often with agreements for lease conditional on landlord and/or tenant works), renewal leases, lease regears, assignments and subleases, licences for alterations and wayleave agreements.
- Acting for Marnshaw Limited on the sale of Bridge Trading Estate in Bury, a 49,880 sq ft multi-let industrial estate with a rental income of £397,250 per annum. Prior to this, Sarah was involved in the site advising the client on landlord and tenant matters for a number of years.
- Acting for a client which provides high quality settled accommodation to individuals on a complex multi-stage transaction involving the intragroup sale and purchase of properties, the refinancing of the properties and the subsequent leasing of the properties to a supported housing provider.
- Providing corporate support on a complex share sale involving two property interests of former landfill sites, including preparing new leases, drafting transfer deeds, dealing with the sale documentation and deducing title, reviewing the property aspects of the share purchase agreement and advising on property warranties, providing input in relation to a tripartite demerger agreement, providing input in relation to a dividend in specie and dealing with post completion stamp duty land tax and Land Registry requirements.
