The Lawyer Awards are among the most respected and competitive accolades in the UK legal calendar. Organised by The Lawyer magazine, these awards recognise outstanding performance across private practice, in-house legal teams, and the Bar.
The Independents category celebrates the most exceptional law firms operating outside of national and international networks. It is open to firms with annual revenues between £8 million and £24 million, and highlights those demonstrating strong financial performance, strategic clarity, and excellence in client service.
Over the past year, Myerson has continued its strong upward trajectory, delivering a 15% increase in revenue, and marking a total growth of 84% over the last four years. Being named among the Top 3 independent law firms in the UK is a recognition of the consistent quality of our work, the calibre of our people, and the trust placed in us by our clients. The commendation reflects our position as a dynamic regional firm delivering complex legal services with clarity, commerciality, and care.
Our award submission highlighted a number of key developments over the past year, including our transition to 100% employee ownership in 2024 – the first law firm in Manchester to take this step.
