Plans for Next Crumpsall Phase
The vehicle rental company Salford Van Hire is planning to build three industrial units totalling 90,000 sq. ft on land that AstraZeneca previously occupied by Brightside Road at the North Manchester Business Park. The Construction Team at Myerson Solicitors has been working on the documentation and funding in relation to the project for the past year as well as handling property work.
In 2019, Manchester City Council granted Salford Van Hire permission for the first phase of the project, an MOT and maintenance facility on a 13-acre plot that borders the River Irk nearby North Manchester General Hospital in Crumpsall.
Completion of the first phase is due for this spring. The second phase consists of three units ranging from 19,400 sq. ft and 40,000 sq. ft on a 5.8-acre adjoining plot to the west of the first phase.
