Announcement: Amanda Freeman retires after 39 years
After 39 years at her desk, Wills, Trusts and Probate Partner, Amanda Freeman retired at the end of August 2020.
Amanda said: “I am proud of my colleagues and the department we have built at Myerson. All of my colleagues have decades of work in front of them, and they will be able to provide continuity of service in the future”.She continued:
“Over the years, we have been privileged to deal with many complex and rewarding matters, both in terms of tax and family situations. In terms of probates, we have dealt with a vast range, with many involving complex financial products and foreign assets. We have also looked after many family trusts, both small and large.
After working for Myerson for over ten years, one of the great pleasures of the Wills, Trusts and Probate area of work is getting to know clients and their families, and I will be sorry to be leaving them behind. However, the siren call of a life of leisure can’t be ignored forever, and I am leaving my clients in safe hands”.
The Wills, Trusts and Probate team will continue to be led by Partner, Bik-ki Wong, who said:
“It has been a privilege to work with Amanda. The team and I are sad to see her go. We have built a knowledgeable, friendly and experienced team of solicitors at Myerson, and Amanda was integral in shaping and recruiting the existing team. Amanda has promised to keep in contact and to update us on all her new adventures. We wish her all the best”.
