We were thrilled to take part in the 'Paint Altrincham Pink' campaign to raise awareness and funds to Prevent Breast Cancer.
From Monday 6 March to Sunday 19 March 2023 businesses within Altrincham, led by the Altrincham BID Group, painted Altrincham pink for the charity Prevent Breast Cancer.
Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to predicting and preventing breast cancer. They focus on preventing, rather than curing, by promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes with the aim of stopping the problem before it starts.
On Wednesday 15 March, Myerson and our employees hosted an 'On Wednesdays We Wear Pink Day', where we encouraged everyone in the office to wear something pink! There were also pink treats and surprises in each of the kitchens across our three floors, all in aid of Prevent Breast Cancer.
In partnership with Altrincham BID the annual Paint Altrincham Pink campaign is all about a range of fun events and fundraising activities, all with a pink theme. Many of the town's cafes and restaurants created pink themed menus and specials with proceeds going to the charity.
