Myerson Solicitors Real Estate Network Present:

What's Next For Landlords Following the Extension of the Moratorium?

  • Thursday 24 June 2021
  • Time: 1:00pm-1:30pm

2020 has been a very difficult year for the economy generally, but the effect on the Real Estate market and landlords, in particular, has yet to be fully felt.

The Government's response to the temporary closure of many businesses due to the pandemic was to introduce (via the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 and the Coronavirus Act 2020) a Moratorium on landlords pursuing action against a tenant for unpaid rent via the traditional insolvency routes and from forfeiting leases for non-payment of rent. The Moratorium is finally due to come to an end on 30 June 2021, pending further Government intervention.

What does this mean for commercial landlords, and what might they do to protect their position in the coming months?

Join us at Myerson Solicitors for an unmissable webinar, where our Real Estate Litigation team will take you through everything you need to know. We will look at the available options and discuss the strategies landlords should consider in this next phase of the pandemic response.

There is more to think about than you might realise!
