A new approach to family law practice has been trialled by Resolution through its ‘Family Matters Service’. The service offered trained mediators, known as ‘Guides’, to work with separated families to offer neutral legal information to support the families and to work with both parents to help them move towards a workable solution in a non-confrontational way.
Research indicates that separating families benefit from obtaining neutral help and support to assist them in making arrangements between themselves. Where both parents are engaged in the Resolution process they are likely to be happier with the result as opposed to where a decision is imposed on them by a court. 96% of families who used the Family Matters Service said that the support they received was beneficial.
Our family solicitors at Myerson can arrange bespoke and tailored ‘Parenting after Parting’ sessions to help you resolve the issues you may be experiencing after separation. The sessions are tailored to the unique situation that you find yourself in and combine information with helpful strategies. The sessions can assist with conflict management and developing a strategic plan for moving forward in a non-confrontational way as well as offering on-going counselling and emotional support.
The sessions are charged at extremely competitive rates. You do have the option to attend alone, however, attending with your ex-partner can be more productive.
