  • advising on heads of terms summarising the proposed purchase transaction.
  • advising, in conjunction with other professional advisers, on the structure of the transaction. Is it most appropriate to buy the property in your own name/joint names; through a company or an LLP; or maybe you have a private pension scheme you would like to use. 
  • Investigating and reporting to you on the property, including carrying out appropriate property searches, raising appropriate enquiries of the seller and considering their responses.
  • dealing with all of the contractual issues arising in relation to the purchase to ensure that all necessary contractual protections are in place.
  • reporting to any lender supplying funds to assist with the purchase and dealing with any specific requirements that they might have.
  • We can also deal with the purchase of property which is held in a corporate vehicle where the shares in the corporate vehicle are changing hands.
