Our Service

We believe it is important to get independent and expert legal advice in relation to your claim by suitably experienced and qualified professionals. We serve many businesses like yours and are commercially focused on the needs of your business.

We will conduct an initial review of your case, giving both you and us an understanding of your claim. We will tell you if your claim has the potential to be taken forward and advise you on the best course of action for you.

After our initial review we will undertake a full and detailed information gathering exercise. During this process we will likely ask you for full details about the circumstances surrounding the bank’s sale of the interest rate swap to you. We may also contact your bank to ask them to provide copies of documents, emails and even transcripts of telephone calls.

Once we have all the information necessary, we will then contact your bank and set out your claim. We will urge your bank to make settlement without the need for further action. We fully appreciate that, in the majority of cases, our clients still have a relationship with the bank and we can advise you on how best to preserve that relationship, if that is one of your objectives.

If further action does become necessary we are able to advise you as how to best proceed for you and your business.

Our Approach & Our Experience

We offer a no obligation, initial review and assessment of your case. Thereafter we will work with you on a “no win, no fee” basis as we fully understand the financial burdens on your business as a result of your being mis-sold an interest rate swap.

We cannot stress that you should act now. Many interest rate swaps were sold over the 2006 – 2008 period, and time limits for bringing claims are fast approaching. We can negotiate an agreement with your bank to give you the best protection possible for your claim. We can also assist you if you were sold an interest rate swap pre-2006, and the sooner we can review your case the sooner we can start progressing your claim.

We also have a specialist team of banking litigators who are able to advise on all commercial banking disputes, including those related to interest rate swaps and LIBOR manipulated products.
