Biography

Zoë is a Solicitor in our Commercial Property department.

Zoë has experience of a wide range of commercial property matters for clients of varying types and sizes, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold properties, acting for both landlords and tenants on leasehold transactions and secured lending.

Zoë initially studied English Literature at Durham University and graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) before undertaking her legal training at the College of Law.  She obtained a distinction on the LPC and trained at Cobbetts LLP in Manchester.  She then went on to work at national law firms in the city centre including DWF LLP and TLT LLP before joining Myerson in January 2018.

Expertise and Past Cases

Zoë specialised in acting for the leisure sector in her previous position but has a wide range of experience of commercial property work, including:

  • Acting for both landlords and tenants on commercial leasehold transactions negotiating leases and ancillary documents;
  • Acting for vendors and purchasers on freehold property transactions including office premises, industrial units and development sites;
  • Acting on the property aspects of business sales and purchases;
  • Carrying out corporate due diligence and providing commercial property support;
  • Assisting large property portfolios with estate management matters including negotiating licences and surrenders.
