Sylwia advises on various corporate matters including acquisitions and disposals, equity investments, re-organisations, share option schemes, shareholders’ agreements and articles of association.

Sylwia obtained a master’s degree with first class honours in both Law and International Relations in Poland.

Since she moved to England, she has completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University whilst working as a paralegal at an Altrincham based firm where she also undertook her training.

Sylwia qualified as a solicitor in September 2018 and joined Myerson in January 2019.

Expertise and Past Cases

Sylwia’s experience includes:

  • acting for an equity investor to ensure that a Subscription and Shareholders Agreement and amended Articles of Association accurately reflect the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) requirements;
  • acting for a lender in respect of a loan facility, secured by way of a debenture, and supported by a guarantee and indemnity and legal charges on the borrower’s directors’ properties; and
  • acting for a wallpaper manufacturer in connection with the sale of part of its business and assets.
