Biography

Jaima specialises in the preparation of Wills, the administration of estates and advising on Lasting and Enduring Powers of Attorneys.

Jaima graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a 2:1 LLB Hons Law degree. She went on to complete her Legal Practice Course with BBP Professional Education in Manchester and undertook her training with a regional firm in Wiltshire before joining Myerson in 2019.

Jaima’s previous experience has included working at firms in Manchester, London and Bristol both in private practice and in-house. Her broad range of experience enables her to provide a professional, friendly and personalised legal service tailored to clients’ individual needs.

Jaima is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and a Dementia Friend.

Expertise and Past Cases

Jaima's experience includes:

  • Dealing with a taxable estate with assets in different jurisdiction.
  • Proving of a foreign Will to obtain English Grant of Representation.
  • Advising clients through the process of making Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorneys and explaining complex legal jargon.
  • Advising elderly clients on gifting options, mitigation of inheritance tax and the impact if they should enter long term care.
