Helen specialises in all aspects of employment law. Helen has particular experience in supporting HR Managers and In-House Counsel on day to day HR issues and in dealing with Employment Tribunal claims and Employment Tribunal appeals.

Helen provides advice to a range of employers and in addition she also provides advice to senior executives in relation to negotiating termination packages. She is experienced in reviewing and drafting a variety of employment documents including employment contracts, policies, handbooks, disciplinary and grievance procedures and settlement agreements.

Examples of Helen’s notable matters include:

  • Representing a company in the aviation industry in respect of an Employment Tribunal claim brought by an ex-employee and securing a finding in favour of the company;
  • Acting for various companies in relation to Employment Tribunal claims and successfully securing dismissal of the claims (including claims of discrimination, unfair dismissal and breach of contract);
  • Advising and negotiating an extensive exit package for a senior executive against a household name company;
  • Negotiating and advising a group of employees in relation to their exit packages in a large scale redundancy situation;
  • Assisting and advising on the sale of a large regional estate agent.


Helen trained and qualified at Addleshaw Goddard LLP and moved to Myerson in 2012 and continues to provide clear and concise advice to employers and senior employees.
