The team
Our Real Estate Team is one of the North West’s largest real estate groups. The team provide the highest quality advice and support to our clients on a range of real estate law matters, demonstrating high levels of technical skill and maintaining strong client relationships. The work is interesting and seldom straightforward.
Typical matters include
- Commercial landlord and tenant portfolio management disputes
- Forfeiture and possession claims
- Interim and Terminal dilapidations claims
- Dealing with insolvent tenants
- Strategic advice on development site acquisitions
- Easement disputes including rights of light
- Restrictive Covenant disputes
- Development Agreement, Option Agreement and Overage disputes
- Residential landlord and management company disputes
- Lease extension and purchase of freehold houses
- Advising on rights of first refusal
- Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustee Act claims
- Trespass claims
Who we are looking for
The position would suit someone with a good academic background and training who is looking to further develop their career. Working within one of the North West’s largest property groups, they will be required to work well with experienced professionals within a team orientated environment whilst maintaining high work standards. Candidates are required to have excellent knowledge of all areas of real estate litigation and experience of providing high-quality advice representing a leading law firm.
Candidates will need to demonstrate high levels of technical skill and the ability to maintain strong client relationships. Candidates are also required to demonstrate how they can promote the real estate services and other legal services offered by the firm to existing and new target clients and obtain referrals from contacts and referrers.
